NOTE : Several of these steps could cause catastrophic problems if not done
correctly. If you are at all unsure of yourself, PLEASE call Northern
support.
1. Go to the DOS prompt.
2. If you have a single stand alone system, type C: and press Enter.
If you have multiple workstations on a network, type in the name of your
network server drive and press Enter.
2. Type CD\ and press the Enter Key. Make sure your prompt says
3. If you are using version 1.xx, type CD\IDMS\NETWORK, press Enter. If you
are using version 2.xx, type CD\NSI\NETWORK, press Enter.
4. Type DIR and press Enter. Make sure there are files that start
USER and one file that is named Utility.lab. If there is not, don't do
anything and call Northern support. If the files are there, type ERASE
Utility.Lab and press Enter.
5. If you are using Windows, type exit press Enter. If not, type C:
and press Enter, then type cd\ and press Enter.
6. Try the lab system again.
